Teste PMP:Contingency Theory vs Z Theory

Which of the following motivation theory states that the effectiveness of a leader's management style is dependent upon the situation?

A. Theory Z

B. Theory Y

C. Contingency Theory

D. Theory X

Raspunsul este: Answer choice C is correct. Choice A is incorrect since Ouchi's Theory Z states that a job for life increases loyalty. Choice B is incorrect since McGregor's Theory Y states that people enjoy work and are self motivated. Choice D is incorrect since McGregor's Theory X states that people are lazy and dislike work, therefore they must be watch closely and micromanaged.

Problema mea este ca nu am putut sa gasesc Theory Z si Contingency Theory in RITA sau PMBOK !

Da, vei avea surpriza sa mai intalnesti si concepte care nu sunt in PMBOK Guide sau care fac parte dintr-o categorie mai mare de Tools and Techniques dar care nu sunt detaliate in PMBOK Guide.

In aceasta intrebare, teoria lui X si Y (Mc Gregor) se exclud ca merg impreuna. Raman raspunsuirle A si C. Teoria lui Z, o mai gasesti ca Ouchi, pune accentul pe stabilitate, gandind jobul pe termen lung chiar pe viata, pe dezvoltarea loialitatii angajatului si sentinemtnului de apartenenta la companie.(stock options etc). Contingency Theory spune ca nu exista un model motivational aplicabil in toate situatiile si ca totul depinde de contextul intern si extern al situatie pe care o analizezi. Deci raspuns corect aici este C.
